Go green with GREENTIC

is a non-profit organization created on April 2010 with the support of the University Hassan II Casablanca (UH2C), the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccan Residents Abroad and Moroccan experts in the field of Green Information and Communication Technologies (GREEN ICT) to strengthen the activities of Moroccan laboratories in the area of green and environment friendly ICT technologies. This is achieved through cooperation between different ICT laboratories from UH2C and other Moroccan universities as well as partner laboratories from Europe and USA. GREENTIC aims at building a Europe- Mediterranean (EU-MED) partnership to promote S&T cooperation and aids in transferring technical know-how and expertise to its partner laboratories in the field of modern ICT fields. The organization aims also at the creation of a joint EU-MED research program providing co-advising with faculty members from European and international institutions. GREENTIC has also started a scholarship program with the support of The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Resident Abroad. The objective of GREENTIC is to reinforce academia-industry partnership and help Moroccan partner laboratories to develop an expertise in ICT R&D activities furthering their ability to engage local industry and interact with local operators and key players in telecommunication and green ICT field. GREENTIC network is composed of high quality researchers from University Hassan II Casablanca engineering schools and faculties as well as researchers from Moroccan and international partner academic institutions such as Alcatel Lucent Chair at Supelec, the LAAS and ISITV in France, AIT in Greece, CTTC in Spain and Northeastern University in USA.
